New Hotel Le Voltaire - Paris

No air con and when we asked they just said "its Paris you dont need air con. Sorry." Even when my boyfriend told them i was upstairs with a fever. It was 30C outside!No wi-fi on 5th floor. Even in reception it did not always work. Water ran cold sometimes in shower. Bathroom still had half opened shampoo/shower gels from previous customer.

Very small room

We checked in very quickly and easily. Breakfast was pretty good and was enough to start the day with. The Hotel is in a good position as it is very near a Metro stop, great Patisseries and only a 10 minute stroll to the Bastille area with lots of cool little cafes, theatre etc. The night porter was very friendly and offered to bring me a pot of hot water to have with my own tea bags to have in the evenings. Equally the receptionist who was there when we checked out arranged a taxi for us to share with some other guests who were also going back to the CDG airport. We saved money and it took the stress out of the journey as we no longer had to take the Metro and train which we had planned to do!

The room was fairly compact, and a little tired - scuffs from luggage on the wall, paint missing from the skirting boards. The walls were also a little thin and you could hear other guests in the corridors quite plainly. It was also disappointing not to have my own tea making facilities in the room, which I had requested on booking.

Tbh, had a good stay for 3 nights. The hotel was fairly clean based in an original style building with pretty friendly and friendly staff. The location was particularly good - just off subway, a supermarket, and Newhotel Le Voltaire:. Furthermore, in the tourist area...

There were super beds and a safe, central heating and an iron inside the room. I really enjoyed amazing food. The ambience felt really quiet and the service was welcoming. The hotels' team was affable.

had a double room with a bath tub close to the metro and wake-up service was available in it.

good value for money....its hard to find cheap hotel in paris. we needed somewhere to stay safe at night since all the day we were outside in paris. and there are good eating places nearby.

i think the carpet it not so clean and the room was very small and there is very poor ventilation.nevertheless it was good stay at this hotel

fantastic access to parks and central attractions in paris

I enjoyed the beautifully designed room and the short walk to the fine Luxembourg Gardens, perfect for my morning strolls. Plus, the hotel is just steps away from the vibrant Centre Pompidou.

Excellent location, very near to subway station. Comparing to breakfast at normal French hotels, the breakfast buffet was surprisingly excellent.

Very small double rooms, not suitable for more than one person. Too noisy neighbourhood.

Convenient location to the Voltaire metro stop.

Very expensive for the ammenities. Expensive wifi. Very cramped room. No air conditioning.

Highly recommend for food lovers

The staff was polite and helpful. My favorite part was the wood floors and white bed linen seriously it showed how clean the hotel was.

It wasn't exactly a bargain but still acceptable.
